└─ By name, category, region, on a map, or by trust score1. Find a business
Use Discover (/discover) or the map (/map) to search. You can filter by:
- Name — free-text search.
- Category — restaurant, retail, services, healthcare, beauty, automotive, and more.
- Region / city — narrow to your area.
- Location + radius — “within N km” of a point.
- Minimum trust score — only show businesses above a threshold.
- Verified only — businesses with phone + location/registration verified.
Results sort by trust score by default (also newest or name). Each result card shows the trust score, a verified badge where earned, and category/region. You can save searches to re-run them later.
2. Read the trust score
Open a profile (/profile/[id]) to see the full Trust Score (0–100) and its
five-component breakdown — community review quality, business responsiveness,
resolution track record, verification signals, and external (Google) signals. A
higher score means a more credible, more responsive, better-verified business.
The score is explainable on purpose — expand the breakdown to see exactly why a business scores the way it does. See Core Concepts.
The profile also shows:
- Community reviews — with photos, the author’s name, and their credibility.
- Business responses — public replies to complaints, and whether the issue was resolved.
- Network reviews — reviews of this subject from other Duaba apps (e.g. Sellub), surfaced via the shared engine.
- Google reviews — clearly labelled “From Google”, reference-only, never merged with community data.
3. Write a review
From a profile, choose Write a review (/write-review/[businessId]). The form
captures:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Rating | 1–5 stars. 1–2★ is treated as a complaint the business should respond to. |
| Review text | Your experience. Longer, specific reviews score higher quality. |
| Suggestion | Optional “what could be better” — adds to review quality. |
| Photos | Up to 5. |
| Verified experience | Mark if you actually transacted (raises weight). |
| Experience type | Dine-in, takeout, delivery, in-store, online, service call, consultation, other. |
| Visit date | When it happened. |
| Tag people / location | Optional @mentions and a location pin. |
One honest review goes a long way. Extreme ratings (1★ or 5★) with no explanation, copy-pasted text, or a burst of identical reviews are flagged by anti-abuse safeguards. Suspicious reviews may be shadow-weighted (shown, but counted less) or sent to a moderator — they are never silently deleted.
You can edit or delete your own review within 24 hours of posting. After that, removal goes through support to keep the history immutable.
4. Track resolution
When you file a complaint (1–2★), the business can respond publicly. Once they do, you’ll be asked to confirm the outcome:
- Resolved — the business fixed it.
- Unresolved — it wasn’t fixed.
Your confirmation feeds the business’s Resolution Track Record, so honest follow-up directly improves (or protects) the accuracy of the score.
5. Mark helpful & report abuse
- Mark helpful on reviews that helped you — one vote per reviewer. Helpful votes also raise that reviewer’s credibility.
- Report a review you believe is fake, spam, or inappropriate. Reports are
one-per-user; 3+ reports automatically send a published review to the
moderation queue for
under_review.
Your reviewer profile
Every reviewer builds a credibility score (0–100, starting at 50). It rises with review volume, helpful votes, account age, varied ratings, and verified purchases — and falls with reports and rejected reviews. At 70+ you’re marked a trusted reviewer and your reviews carry more weight in the Trust Score. Check your stats — credibility, review count, helpful votes, verified purchases, rating distribution, and member-since — from your profile.
Community
Beyond reviews, 3y3anaa has a Community hub (/community) for posts,
discussions, and an activity feed — somewhere to ask “has anyone used X?” before
you buy.
