Sellub pricing
Sellub is free to start and free to buy. Sellers pay a commission per sale; serious sellers subscribe to a plan that lowers their commission and unlocks more tools. Every other vendor on the network (carriers, suppliers, designers, integrators) is priced on the value they move.
Your commission is all‑in. The percentages below are what you pay Sellub — Paystack’s 1.95% payment‑processing fee is absorbed by Sellub, not added on top. No hidden payment charge, no stacked fees. (Cash‑on‑delivery has no Paystack fee at all — it’s cash.)
Seller plans
Sellub has three commerce models. A new seller starts on Marketplace (free) by default; you move up when the lower commission outweighs the monthly fee.
| Plan | Monthly | Commission (your own surface) | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🟢 Marketplace — “Start selling in minutes” | Free | 5% | Marketplace listings, Sellub storefront, Paystack/MoMo checkout, COD, order management, ratings & reviews, payout tracking |
| 🟠 Custom Domain — “Your brand, our engine” | GHS 250 (Starter) · GHS 600 (Pro) | 3% (Starter) · 2% (Pro) | + custom domain, branded storefront, inventory, analytics, customer management, SEO, WhatsApp, payments |
| 🔴 Commerce API — “Power your own app” | GHS 500 (Developer) · GHS 1,500 (Growth) · contact sales (Enterprise) | 1.5% · 1% · 1% (negotiated) | + API keys, Checkout/Payment/Order/Payout APIs, webhooks, transaction logs, usage analytics, sandbox, white‑label checkout |
All numbers come from one source of truth (@duabalabs/sellub-pricing), so plan cards, onboarding,
the dashboard and admin overrides always agree.
Direct vs. marketplace‑attributed commission
The clever part: you pay less on sales you bring, and a bit more only when Sellub brings the buyer.
| Where the sale came from | Marketplace | Custom Domain | Commerce API |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your own surface (your domain / app / API) — direct rate | 5% | 2–3% | 1–1.5% |
| Sellub marketplace (search, homepage, category, recommendation) — attributed rate | 5% | 4.5% | 3.5% |
So a Custom Domain seller pays 2–3% on their own storefront, and only the higher 4.5% when a shopper discovered them through sellub.com’s traffic. It’s a fair trade: you pay the marketplace rate only when the marketplace did the work.
Annual billing: pay for 10 months, get 12 (two months free) on any paid plan.
Add‑ons
Opt‑in layers on top of any plan:
| Add‑on | Price | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 📣 Duaba Connect | GHS 350/mo | Auto‑post & schedule to Instagram/TikTok/Facebook, content automation |
| ⭐ Featured listing | GHS 30/listing or GHS 120/mo bundle | Boost visibility in search, category and homepage |
| 📈 Performance ads | 11% of the sale | Algorithmic product boosting — charged only when an ad drives a sale |
Cash on delivery (COD)
COD lets your buyer pay the rider in cash. Because it’s cash, there’s no Paystack fee — you’re charged only your normal plan commission, reconciled after delivery from your wallet. COD is credit‑gated (needs a small wallet float or a saved card), which is what keeps it safe for everyone — see Money & commission → COD.
Payouts & withdrawals
Online payments split to your account at checkout — you’re paid as the buyer pays, no payout delay. When you withdraw your wallet balance, Paystack’s transfer fee applies (passed through):
| Withdraw to | Fee |
|---|---|
| Mobile Money | GHS 1 |
| Bank account | GHS 8 |
Other vendors on the network
Sellub monetizes the whole network. If you offer a service, you’re priced on what you move:
| You are a… | You pay | On |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery partner (carrier) | your plan commission rate | each delivery fee you earn |
| Supplier (Source) | 5% | each wholesale purchase order |
| Designer (print‑on‑demand) | a per‑job fee (configurable) + retail commission | each design order |
| Integrator (embedded checkout) | your Commerce API rate (1–1.5%) | each transaction through the API |
How you’re charged (mechanics)
- Online sales — commission is taken automatically when the payment splits to your account at checkout; Paystack’s 1.95% is absorbed by Sellub. Nothing to invoice.
- COD sales — the rider collects cash; Sellub later reconciles its commission from your wallet (or saved card), never holding the cash itself.
- Everything lands in your Transactions ledger with a clear line per sale, fee and payout — see Money & commission.
Published rates shown here are the standard tiers; Enterprise commission and custom terms are negotiated. Fees are quoted in GHS for local sellers; USD is available for Enterprise, Commerce API and diaspora accounts.
